Con el fin de unir las historias de las películas "Rise of the Planet of the Apes" estrenada en el 2011 y "Dawn of the Planet of the Apes" que se estrenará en julio de 2014, sera publicado un cómic digital titulado "Before the Dawn" disponible por el sitio web Apes2014.com.
