20th Century Fox ha contratado a Mark Bomback para reescribir el guión de Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, el cual ha sido escrito y modificado por Scott Z. Burns, Amanda Silver y Rick Jaffa, Matt Reeves es el director hasta el momento de esta secuela de Rise of the Planet of the Apes.
